A personal e-bike tour past the most beautiful tulip fields and through Keukenhof. Just for you and your party, with a professional photographer as your guide.
Tours
Every tour is exclusively for your party. I tailor the route and pace to your wishes and to what is in bloom that week.
Three hours by e-bike through the fields, around Lisse or in West Friesland. Along the way I tell you how the bulbs are grown, where the tulip comes from, about tulip mania and the stories you only know if you have worked there yourself.
In the morning we walk through Keukenhof together. In the afternoon we cycle through the surrounding fields, where the bulbs are actually grown.
In Hoorn we board the heritage steam tram and ride right through the West Frisian tulip fields to Medemblik. After lunch we cycle back past the fields you saw from the tram. The e-bikes travel with us on the tram.
Only on days when the tulip tram runs, usually mid-April to early May. Times subject to the 2027 timetable.
Photography
As a photographer I know where and when the light in the fields is at its best. You can make the most of that in two ways.
I photograph you and your party during the tour, at the tulip fields and in Keukenhof. Afterwards you receive a selection of edited, high-resolution photos.
Learn to take beautiful tulip photos yourself, with your smartphone or your own camera. I show you how light, composition and a low viewpoint make the difference.

You book me as your private guide, exclusively for your party. Prices apply to groups of up to 4 people and include VAT.

Bloom calendar
A rough guide. The weather decides the exact timing: after a warm spring everything blooms earlier.
In West Friesland the tulips often bloom a little later than in the Bulb Region, so even in a late spring you can still see fields in full colour.

About these photos. All photos were taken with the grower's permission, sometimes even together with the tulip farmer. Never enter a tulip field without asking: the fields are private property and the bulbs are a whole year's work.
About me
I worked in the bulb trade for many years, so I know the fields from the inside: planting, topping, lifting and everything in between.
I'm also a professional photographer and teach smartphone photography workshops. I know where the fields look their best and how the light falls at every time of day.
I regularly guide exclusive groups through the bulb fields. I live in Medemblik, right among the West Frisian fields.

Never without the grower's permission, because the fields are private property. I know where you can stand for a great photo.
We ride e-bikes at a relaxed pace, about 25 km in 3 hours with plenty of stops along the way.
Yes. You can add a photo workshop to your tour, with your smartphone or your own camera. If you'd rather be in the pictures yourself, book a photo shoot and I'll take the photos for you.
My travel costs to the starting point, Keukenhof admission, parking, e-bike rental, the steam tram ticket and lunch. I'm happy to help you book them.
Up to four weeks before the tour you can cancel or reschedule free of charge. Between four weeks and one week before, you pay half; after that, the full amount. If I have to call off the tour because of the weather, we find another day or you get your money back.
The price applies to a party of up to 4 people. For a larger party I'm happy to make a tailored proposal.
That depends on where the tour starts. After your request you'll receive a proposal from me with the total amount.
